Kokia rockii is a synonym for Kokia drynarioides and Kokia kauaiensis, close relatives in the Hibiscus family. Both species are endemic to Kauai, and both are on the IUCN list of endangered species.

This gigapan was stitched with the GigaPan stitcher, with post processing in PhotoShop CS2. I used Aperture priority exposure by mistake, instead of manual exposure. Auto focus was also used.
This 8C x 15R macropanorama totally confounded APPro 1.4.2, and Giga APPro 1.9 Alpha, probably due to the monochromatic background.
