Interesting device Comments:1. Just come back to look at this image - beautifully crisp. I have deep lens envy. Posted 1 year, 2 months ago by (Kilgore661) 2. If the wind speed reaches a certain rate, the resulting water spray would affect driving conditions of the people heading or driving south or north on Main Street, so the fountains would need to be shut down. Especially so if or when a hurricane coming in off the Gulf, a valve would automatically close this baby down. Posted 1 year, 2 months ago by David Engle (Texas_Photo) 3. What a strange idea. If it was up to me then I would make the fountain spray as much water as possible to make driving as hazardous as possible to deter people from using their environmentally unsound lumps of metal and plastic called 'cars'. Perhaps the fountain could be adapted with a lightning conductor that directs the lightning at passing SUV owners? Excess wind could be used to operate pneumatic metal spikes that would pop up in the road at random intervals. Posted 1 year, 2 months ago by (Kilgore661) 4. Nothing like that here in the States... our political parties, for the most part, try their best to coexist and get along with each other except for a few months every 4 years :) Posted 1 year, 2 months ago by David Engle (Texas_Photo) 5. "A few months"? Are you kidding? The media circus lasts about two years imho. The coverage here in the UK is endless and I mean Why? It doesn't matter who you vote for because the government always wins. (Now where did I put my flame-resistant overalls?) Posted 1 year, 2 months ago by (Kilgore661) 6. If everyone started taking Gigapans, we would all be happy :) Posted 1 year, 2 months ago by David Engle (Texas_Photo) |
