I'm an artist. I work in daguerreotypes mostly but I'm branching out into video, B&W prints, and sound.

This is a cool little bookstore near downtown Raleigh, NC. The books outside are for sale via the honor system. I took this around 1AM Saturday morning.

Photographed on 12/26/2008 on an overcast day. I used a Canon G10 at maximum zoom.
I'm wondering why the building is curved across the top. Is this because I have my Imager set incorrectly? I measured per the manual and came up with a setting of -8.

This is a boring panoramic photo but it's the first one that I made using my beta gigapan imager. I used a Canon G10 but I will be retuning that camera because it lacks AEL and AFL. I'm thinking about the Canon 110 and/or the SX10 and/or the G9. Waddya think?

I made this panorama with my Canon Rebel XTi on my visit to England over the summer. I've never made a panorama before but I decided to try my hand at stitching. I shot all of these images handheld and then stitched them together in Photoshop CS3.
I've just purchased a Gigapan Imager and a Canon G10 for the express purpose of making stitched panoramic images. I can't wait!
