Today was nice and sunny when I took this GigaPan from the top of Waipoo Falls. I wanted to load this just so that I can see the difference between the one I took on a cloudy day. I'll try one more on a sunny day in the morning.

This GigaPan is from the top of the Waipoo Falls. I did a 360 GigaPan for my friends. Its not a large GigaPan it looked nice so I wanted to share it with everyone.

When I took this GigaPan it was unusually clear. Not a cloud in the sky over head all day! It was a great day for GigaPans.

This GigaPan is from a different angle from the last Waimea Canyon GigaPan that I uploaded. It was taken late in the afternoon so there are more shadows. I will take more from this vantage point eailer in the day. It should be interesting to see how different it looks from this one.

This is the Kalalau GigaPan that I always wanted to take, but the time of day was not the best for photos. I went earlier in the day but it was cloudy so I had no choice. The two people in this GigaPan is Dave, and Janette. My first GigaPan tour customer. It took 29 hours to stitch this GigaPan of Kalalau valley and over 12 hours to upload. Watch out for my next Kalalau Valley. Its going to be taken with better lighting conditions.

Kipukai is a private ranch that has been used in Jurassic Park 2s openning scene, and also the beach that Harrison Ford crashed his plane on the beach in the left side of this photo in Six Days and Seven Nights. Kipukai has also been used for T.V. , Magazines, and Catalog locations. This GigaPan of Kipukai did not stitch together very well but it gives you a very good idea as to what Kipukai is like. Its kind of interesting to think that this might be the largest photo of Kipukai in the World.

This GigaPan was taken on the way in to Waipio Valley, so I got to get more of the inside of the valley.

Some of the names of this hibiscus is:
Malvaceae > Hibiscus waimeae
Hawaiian white hibiscus, kokio kea, kokio keokeo
This hibiscus is also on the endangered speicies list. Most hibiscus don't have any smell but this one smells nice! On the left side on the walk up to the Waimea Canyon lookout is 2 trees. If it is in bloom take a sniff.

This yellow ginger grows in many of the Kokee and Waimea Canyon areas. It over takes land where our native plants used to grow. Nice sweet smelling flower but not a good plant for our native forests.

Supposedly right by this microwave antenna is where the Puka Pele Heiau is. Heiau is a temple or place of worship. This is where Pele left Kauai from to find a new home.

When I first started taking this GigaPan, we seen goats in this area. I was hoping that the GigaPan would reach this area in time to photograph them, but I think I might have missed them. Try your luck , you might be able to find them. I could not find them in this GigaPan. They are black like the rocks or brown like the dirt. They blend in very well.
