Potters Fields is a small public park adjacent to Tower Bridge and the River Thames. It is used for various activities through the year. In November 2008 a giant rugby ball pavilion was temporarily installed to promote the next Rugby World Cup held in New Zealand in 2011

Taken on a very wet and grey September morning and shot with a Canon G9 on a Nodal Ninja 3 NN3 head

Panorama of the City of London from south of the River Thames.
The area directly in front of the camera is the Bermondsey Street Conservation Area and like most parts of central London, under constant threat from inappropriate development. http://www.bermondseyvillage.org.uk/index.htm

New controversial Venice bridge designed by Santiago Calatrava (www.calatrava.com). The bridge joins the main bus terminal to the main train station. The shoot proved to be very problematic as everything was moving, including the camera!!. It was very windy and there are dozens of moving boats and hundreds of moving people. The shoot is incomplete as it had to be abandoned due to rain.

The Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, is a famous church in Venice, placed scenically at a narrow finger of land which lies between the Grand Canal and the Bacino di San Marco on the lagoon, visible as one enters the Piazza San Marco from the water. While it has the status of a minor basilica, its decorative and distinctive profile and location make it among the most photographed churches in Italy.

The left hand shot was taken in late evening and the right hand shot was taken the following morning. The evening shot uses a set of shutter bracketed images whereas the morning shot was done with a single image set.

High resolution image of hotel room. Rather than using panoramic techniques to capture a landscape I am interested in trying to capture a high level of detail in a scene
