An experimental shot – a sunroom in my neighborhood. Is it called sunroom in english? It's kinda built as an addition to a house, letting in the sunlight in for plants.. maybe a piece of extravagance. In this case it was built by a German company called Glashaus Regahl Wintergarten and maybe on some day in the future I might ask them for assistance with my own sunroom :-)

Looking at the village of Gaschurn in western Austria, close to the Swiss border.
Behind the camera up in the mountains is a very large snow skiing area and thousands of people called 'silvretta nova'. Look at the link in my comment to see a nice panorama I took down there.
One of the snapshots shows the hotel were we stayed. I had bad luck.. they didn't want to buy the pictures and panoramas I took at their hotel.. This neat little concept to earn back the money that I spent for my holidays worked out well a few times before.. unfortunately not in this case ;-)

The westphalian open air museum ist the largest of it's kind in Germany and one of the largest worldwide.
It is a recreation common life of the past 500 years in Westphalia arranged on more than 100 hectares. More than 100 historic houses, pulled down at their original places have been reerected in the museum.
Every year a few days before christmas doors are open for the 'Museumsadvent' a christmas market, located in the the so called 'Paderborner Dorf' (Paderborn village).
It's a very beautiful spot indeed. If you ever come to Eastern Westphalia be shure to have a look.

A 180° view from the top of the Arminius Monument.
I was a bit in a hurry when we took this picture and the platform we were standing on was continuously swinging in the wind 50 meters above the ground, – that's why not every part of the image is as sharp as it should be.. some day I will do a new one.

The Hermannsdenkmal / Hermann monument is located in the southern part of the Teutoburg Forest, southwest of Detmold. It commemorates the Varusbattle. It was completed in 1875 according to plans by Ernst von Bandel.
