This panorama was taken at the top of Multnomah Falls, near the look out platform. Multnomah falls is a tourist attraction on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge. There is a beautiful hike at the top of the falls, just keep following the water back. Multnomah is the most famous falls in the area, but there are other beautiful falls with great hikes as well.

This was taken of Seaside, from the beach in Gearhart. Gearhart is a smaller beach town on the Northern Oregon Coast, about 4 miles outside of Seaside. I took this Sunday afternoon, after waiting all weekend for the fog to clear up; clearly it never did all the way, this is about as good as it ever got unfortunately.

This is the float from Battle Ground, WA.
I just couldn't resist the giant purple hippo sporting a tu-tu and red lipstick!

I ran out of space on the memory card, so this is most of the float - just missed the very front part! After the parade the floats are lined up on Naito Pkwy over the weekend, for the remainder of the festival.

This is actually half of the waterfront village, which has food, exhibitors and entertainment stages. At the very end you can see two big rides. The other half of the park, on the other side of the bridge has all of the carnival rides.

The first GigaPan taken from the roof of the Memorial Union of Oregon State University. The two stages are set up for the 2008 Battle of the Bands and Flat Tail Festival, held Friday and Saturday night. The two events drew crowds in the thousands to enjoy great music and weather in Corvallis! No rain!
