For some reason this looked a lot better in Autopano Giga before I rendered it.
Big Beach is pretty cool. On my first attempt it got really windy so I had to go back on a later day to get this. The original pano was made up of 1848 images but I cropped it to make it slightly smaller. Because I was trying to get everything in focus I shot at f45 1/60 and ISO 1000. I'd appreciate advice from experienced shooters on how to get a faster shutter speed yet not reduce image quality by increasing...

View from the pier facing north this time. A warm sunny day clearly! Hand-held reverse-S-shaped sweep starting top left going along the horizon, with 1 second continuous shutter. It took about 2 minutes (104 source images). The bizarre overlaps are what Hugin did automatically.
Assembled in Hugin 0.7.0 (while waiting for a Mac build of 0.8.0, please hurry ;)
This should keep you busy. Enjoy!

When i take this picture i'm thinking to do a super pano from the region of the Ponta Negra beach in Natal city / Brazil, my inicial intention was just a big print in a gigant banner whith high quality, and that was done. But now whith this new site everybody can see the panorama in the full original quality.
thanks GIGAPAN.

Honokalani Black Sand Beach is located in the Wainapanapa State Park. This large beach is set among lava cliffs and the sand is actually small, smooth, lava pebbles. A small sea arch, sea caves, and seaside lava tubes are located in the beach area. King's Highway, an ancient Hawaiian footpath, leads from the beach area along the coastline for 3 miles to the town of Hana. Photo by Bruce Ely

Known to most Arizonans as "Rocky Point," this beautiful, endless stretch of beach offers a cool respite for "Zonies" trying to escape the furnace. Las Conchas is a private community of beach homes and condominiums. Great fresh seafood, especially shrimp, is available right off the boat in the old town.

Went to the washout to get a few shots of the crowds, but the surf wasn't cooperating and it turned into a very quiet Sunday. Second of two panos taken that day. This one was taken from the surfline near "15th Street" (across the road and east from Limehouse Dr) in the middle of the washout. Set up a 360° shot for this one. A brother and sister were running around the camera during the shot (and appear in whole or parts in several places). Two young women asked what we were doi...

They are pumping sand from Gunnison beach to the south. The small white buildings are pumps, and they use the crane to move the end of the pipes around on the bottom in the surf, pumping the sand through the pipes (which are buried along the main road through the park).
