Kilgore661 forgoes the pleasure of fossil hunting. Interestingly, this fossil-bearing strata is a continuation of that in Charmouth some 100km away - see, eg, http://www.gigapan.org/gigapans/13305/
You can see both Severn bridges and the old ferry crossing in this image, although http://www.gigapan.org/gigapans/54025/ gives a better view of the bridges.

One of the most difficult panoramas i've made, just because of the location and extreme exposure differences from one corner of the room to the next. A 360-degree, triple-exposure HDR image that took three shooting attempts over the last several months to finally get correct. Tonemapped in Photomatix, Stitched in AutoPano Giga, cropped and corrected in Photoshop.
The abandoned pumping station I found a couple years back near South Mountain R...

A beautiful July 4th concert featuring the National Repertory Orchestra and the Lake Dillon Theatre performers. See how many American flags you can spot!
Created using a Canon T1i and Gigapan Epic 100. APG output to HDR to Photomatix for tone mapping to accentuate the holiday colors and scenic background, then blended HDR and standard exposure shots by hand in Photoshop to eliminate motion bluring of the people in the scene.

No, you mustn't laugh - I was in a terrible accident.
First serious test of the Epic 100 with my Canon 400D. Shot at f/20 and +/-2 bracketing.

This is a true HDR panorama made from a five-image bracket (-2 to 2EV) of each image. The image sets were batch processed in Photomatix and then sharpened in Photoshop before stitching. The panorama shows moderate flooding of Harriet Island in the foreground. See http://gigapan.org/gigapans/45623/ for another view from this location.

The Basilica de Santa María occupies the site of the former principal mosque of Muslim Elche. The mosque was left standing after the conquest of the city by Jaume I in 1265, until 1334 when the first Catholic church, probably Gothic in style and in the shape of a cross, was built, standing until 1492.
The Mystery Play is believed to have been performed for the first time in the above church, requiring th...

This is another panorama of qimet canyon (see my other one). In this case I set up to do an HDR which I processed with basic tone mapping in photomatrix.

Following a discussion about the pros and cons of tone-mapping at http://www.gigapan.org/gigapans/61014/ I was reminded by Texas_Photo of a tone-mapped snapshot of Pulteney Bridge in Bath (http://tinyurl.com/24nywj4/) that I sent him some time ago and which he really liked. Then it dawned on me that I had returned a few days later to try and take a tone-mapped gigapan of the same scene but I couldn't remember having uploaded it. So here it is. As you can see it doesn't have the wonderf...
