Dieses Panorama wurde morgens bei -15° auf dem Totenstein in Sachsen (Deutschland) aufgenommen.
Der 30 Meter hohe Maria-Josefa-Aussichtsturm bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf die etwas vernebelte
Stadt Grüna und Mittelbach. Der nahegelegene Funkturm wurde in der DDR von der Stasi als Abhöranlage
genutzt und gehört heute der Telekom. Das Panorama besteht aus 288 Einzelbildern und hat eine Größe von
58600 x 16176 Pixel bei 1GB im Tiff-Format.

There was a great amount of fog on this day in Houston and I was at Rice University to record this weather even in a hand-held, 360-degree panorama.

This panorama is comprised of 36 photographs, which were taken with a Nikon D-70 using a Nikkor 28-80 f/3.3-5.6G lens and was stitched using the GigaPan Stitcher software.

On the mid-coast of Maine lies Camden, a fishing town and popular tourist destination. This photo was taken on a foggy afternoon and I wasn't sure how it would come out but I am pleased with the results.

Beginning of an aborted panorama. After I set up the Gigapan Epic with my Canon G9 the fog began to roll in. Just as the center of intererst in the parorama was beginning to be imaged the vertical banding of fog began to degrade the original iimage plan.

What did I learn. Plan for the weather changes during the imagaging session. Imagine that weather being too fast for the picture!
