Located in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, southeast of Edmonton, the Hall contains dozens of rare aircraft, some unique like the full size replica of the CF-105 AVRO Arrow.
See how many of the planes on display you can identify (with a snapshot) This GigaPan was subject to some vibration during shutter release causing some slight blurring on some frames. Will be doing a re-shoot in a few months. |

This is a full size replica of the CF-105 Avro Arrow which was to become Canada's most advanced fighter-interceptor in the 1950's. Capable of a cruising speed in the range of Mach 1.5 and a top speed of 2.3 at an altitude of 50,000 feet of higher. Every Labour Day weekend they fire up the Sawyer Massey and several other vintage steam tractors to give a demo of old time threshing on the prairies. The RAM is also home to the Aviation Hall of Fame and this year they rolled out a full size replica of the famous AVRO Arrow fighter. |
