If this pano looks a little low, it's because the GigaPan blurred all the top-row images despite the use of the 2-sec self-timer. Let me know if anyone has a fix for this.

One of many things called an 8th wonder of the world, this falls has a spring that pours water right out of the rock along its face, as well as the main stream going over into the pool. My first 2-row pano. |

Ohiopyle Falls on the Youghiogheny River at Ohiopyle, PA is the largest waterfall in western Pennsylvania. At the center of Ohiopyle State Park the falls marks the beginning of the fabled "lower Yough" a favorite of kayakers. After two heavy rains, the Yough was running high and muddy. |

Website: http://www.co.travis.tx.us/tnr/parks/hamilton_pool.asp <BR> From the site: "Hamilton Pool Preserve is a historic swimming hole which was designated a preserve by the Travis County Commissioner's Court in 1990. Located 3/4 mile upstream from its confluence with the Pedernales River, Hamilton Creek spills out over limestone outcroppings to create a 50 foot waterfall as it plunges into the head of a steep box canyon. The waterfall never completely dries up, but in dry times it does slow to a trickle. However, the pool's water level stays pretty constant, even during periods of drought." |

Addison Oktoberfest 2008 - September 18 - 21, 2008
I shot this yesterday evening on the first day of Addison's Octoberfest. It was still a little early so not many people are around. The guy in the suit with all the medals showed up after I shot the GigaPan so I backed the robot up and reshot him. My friend Joe has a new GigaPan also and we set his up and shot as well. You can see his gigapan unit on the far left. This GigaPan is 7 images high and 63 images wide, 441 total images. Tomorrow I shoot a Balloon Festival, so check back in a few days. Please bookmark this image if you like it or leave me a comment. http://www.addisontexas.net/events/Oktoberfest/ More than 60,000 fans of polka, German food and Paulaner Bier will gather in Addison?s spectacular Addison Circle Park for four days of music, folk dancing, sing-alongs, children?s entertainment and more. Addison?s four-day, authentic German festival is one of the largest Oktoberfest festivals outside of the famed Munich celebration. |

Whitewater Falls, a few miles outside of Cashiers, North Carolina, offers the biggest waterfall east of the Mississippi River. The waterfall, at 411 feet tall, taller than Niagara Falls, is comparable to many beautiful waterfalls throughout the world. |

My family owns property in Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval, just twenty minutes outside of Quebec City. Adjacent to their land sits Rivière Richelieu, a tributary to Rivière Montmorency (just a couple hundred meters downstream). At the base of the river is this great little waterfall, captured wonderfully by the GigaPan.
This was the third and final GigaPan I took that day -- and while the resolution is slightly lower than the other two, I think worked out the color issues best. I'll return next year and will take another from this very spot, as it captures perfectly the wonderful serenity of the river confluence. Photo taken October 11, 2009.
