This gigapan is made from a set of photos taken at the same time as http://gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=21260 but with AE-lock, appears to have fewer stitching artefacts than 21260. The sky is more uniform. Some detail is lost in the shadows as compared with 21260 but on the whole, this one is better. |

Only two miles from Christchurch, Mudeford is a charming fishing village lying at the entrance to Christchurch Harbour.
G9 Canon cameras with the auto focus lock still not set it right? Just to make it more interesting I Photoshop the images which make the sky stand out more. |

Another test shoot using the Canon 550D/Rebel T2i. This time done during the evening. Exposures time was 5 seconds per image. |

This is the eastern end of the docks. In the distance is East Lothian and the Lammermuir Hills. |

Taken from the Singapore River, near Boat Quay, this is a 36-photo panorama taken on a Canon G10, with the Gigapan Epic. Around 7:45 pm. Each exposure was 5 seconds. However, each shot was approx 26 seconds, to allow time for the Gigapan to move to the next shot and also to allow for the 10-second self-timer. This appeared to be necessary to prevent any lingering motion jitter or motion, arising from the activation of the Gigapan's motors. |

This was our first attempt at using Gigapan - taken by Alex Otto of Bournemouth University and Alice Ralph and Denis Roberts, both of The Study Gallery of Modern Art, Poole. Here we have some of Poole's most historic and popular buildings, including Poole Museum, Poole History Center, Custom House, and of course (most important of all) The Kings Charles pub! |

Singapore's Clarke Quay is a revamped leisure area that features an innovative air-conditioning system that manages to give visitors the sense that they are in a cooler climate without chilling them out of the al fresco dining that is the signature of Clarke Quay. Notable outlets at Clarke Quay include Singapore's only Hooters, which has enjoyed robust patronage since the day it opened its doors. DOP on this was Marc Campbell of 2xJump Media, I was DOI - Director of Ice Cream. Damn - Singapore can be hot just after lunch!
Here's a gigapan from Fort Canning, which is the grassy area just right of center http://www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=16728 |

This was taken from the roof of the Ocean Terminal car park and shows the western end of Leith Docks. In the background is Inchkeith Island with the lighthouse and old WW2 defences clearly illustrated. On the far shoreline if Fife, and the town of Kirkcaldy (Kir-Caw-Dee) |

A handheld (!) panorama taken around 3pm on 31 Dec 07 from the Southeastern Harbour Bridge Pylon lookout.
There are a few badly stitched bits (missing top of bridge, city buldings crooked), but it was hard enough work as it was :) 350 images in final from over 400 shot |
