This was taken September 5th from the scenic lookout off I-90 near George, WA. The banding is from the clouds moving across the sun while the GigaPan was doing its thing. The wind was 15MPH gusting to 30MPH for the last half of the panorama, and I had to stand and hold the camera and tripod because the wind blew it over. Fortunately I was standing next to it and was able to catch the tripod and save my gear. |

Probably not the best time of day to shoot this view. |

Falls Park on the Reedy provides an oasis in the heart of downtown Greenville in the historic West End. The park features a one-of-a-kind curved suspension footbridge and scenic overlooks, outdoor amphitheaters, world-class works of public art, nature trails, picnic areas, excavated mill ruins, several distinct garden areas, and of course the beautiful Reedy River with its impressive series of falls. The park has a self-guided walking tour with historic markers.
I think many people who have moved to the area in recent years would tell you that a walk through this park helped them decide to move here. I know it did for me. This panorama was taken from under the Main Street bridge and shows a view upstream on the Reedy River. This area imay not be technically a part of the park (i don't think), but it adjoins it, and is a part of the "common area" |

This panorama was taken from the top level of the parking garage that adjoins the park. It shows views up- and down- river as well as a bit of the main street skyline. |

Standing on the edge of the canyon with a rock outcrop below.
The tower is directly behind the perspective of this photo. |

First shot i've taken that I feel was worth the extra time to photoshop and make perfect, including everything from the Mercedes Benz shoot to the cars stopped in traffic on the West Side Highway. Also what I think is the first shot taken at this resolution of the new Highline Park that's just opened. Definitely the most time i've ever spent working on a single picture...pretty good view from here. Printing as big as I can as well. enjoy! |

This panorama was taken from the river terrace section, below the main falls. Here's a map of the park: http://www.fallspark.com/park_map.pdf And the main park website:http://www.fallspark.com/ |
