Taken from Nottingham Castle. It was such a hot day that the image is not the sharpest due to "heat haze". Still quite happy for first attempt. Took 15 hours to stitch using Autopano Giga and was shot with Nikon D300 on Orion/Merlin mount - controlled by Papywizard |

This is my very first gigapan test. I just received my gigapan today and this is the first test panorama taken from my balcony towards the city limits. It's taken with Canon Ixus 85 IS (also known as SD770 IS), with full 10Mpix settings and 5 row * 17 pics, total of 85 pics.
The result end up pretty nice, although this was ment to be just a quick test and the panorama is shot through the balcony glass. |

My second Gigapan beta test session in close location Poutunpuisto-park, Nokia (city), Finland.
In this gigapan you can see Vesikehä-fountain / work of art when it's not operating. Next week I'm planning to continue with this subject and take gigapans also when the fountain is operating (in daylight) and some day also in dark conditions, when it's operating and illuminated. |
