This is a 290° panorama of Munich at night. I made the pictures on top of the Olympia tower (Olympiaturm). http://gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=6017
The viewing platform is around 195m above ground and you have a great view over the city. Due to strong winds I had some problems to get sharp images. 80 pictures at ISO 800, F4, focal length at 120mm. You can compare this image with the panorama I took during some other day. http://gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=10127 |

View from Munich Olympiaturm (tower) at BMW factory 11 and BMW head quarters.
This is my first panorama taken with the GigaPanBot. The panorama is made up from 110 pictures, 5 rows, with a focal length of 270mm. It took me approx. 7 minutes to take 120 pictures and a few hours to stitch them. Any commercial use or publication of the image, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization of the copyright holder is strictly prohibited. |

This is a 360° panorama of Munich.
During a Sunday walk with the family and not carrying my Gigapanbot with me I took 102 pictures (2 rows) free-hand on top of the Olympia tower. I did not use a tripod and I had to walk around the tower to cover 360°! Due to the clear weather you can see the Alps in a distance of more than 100 km. |

The Nymphenburg Palace (German: Schloss Nymphenburg) is a Baroque palace in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. The palace was the summer residence of the rulers of Bavaria. The palace is located middle in the picture at the end of the canal.
On the right side you can see the neo-Baroque Hubertusbrunnen fountain. This is a 360° panorama best viewed with Google Earth. There is another panorama closer to the palace: http://www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=5034 |

The Isar provides the power supply for Munich, it is a recreation area for Munich, it invites for walks, hikes, inline skating, bicycle riding…There is always something to do along the Isar. The little islands and the pebble banks shift and change each year – but the Isar remains the same – the vital artery of Munich.
On the left side is the entrance to the Zoo "Tierpark Hellabrunn" where I made several other panoramas: http://www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=21052 http://www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=21410 http://www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=20953 Panorama made of 398 pictures at focal length of 400mm. |
