A 360 degree view of Salt Lake City shot from the Meterolorgy department building on the campus of the University of Utah. To see a live timelapse from this location go to http://www.timecam.tv
The silver stripe is the pole that our timelapse camera sits on. This image took 3.5 days for my computer to process and upload. I think missing images slow the gigapan stitcher down a lot. |

The image has been taken on a wonderful sunny autumn day in Londons Regent's Park. The equipment used was a Gigpan Epic 100. Canon EOS 500D (Rebel T1i) with a Tamron 70-300 mm lens. |

This image was made from the baseball diamond located within the park. |

No water shortage here. Saguaro Lake is at the 98% full level and boaters love it. All reservoirs on the Salt River are full. Yellow-flowered brittle bush plants cover the ground between the saguaros. After all, this IS a National Forest.
This is my largest pano yet, taken with a Gigapan EPIC and a modified bracket to hold a Canon EOS XTi with a 75-300mm zoom. |

Say good morning to a beautiful cross section through the Columbia River Flood Basalts in Sun Lakes State Park, Washington. |
|
Sweeping panoramas are what the GigaPan excels at, so every once in a while you just have to climb a mountain and see as much real estate as you can.
I wonder if Champ - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Champ_%28legend%29 - is lurking out there somewhere? |

Living in town and loving town, this means firstly to know it. The discovery of its history and the knowledge of its geographical setting will help you to better understand its setting up between lake and mountain, to better appreciate the remarkable buildings, which stretch along the streets. Be surprised by the extraordinary closeness between the urban net and the huge natural plant areas where you can restore on a walk in the meadows or in the deep forest. It is only a few minutes from your place. Would you like to do a sport, visit some museums, do some sightseeing on foot or at the lake? You will find here the answers to all the questions you ask yourself about the environment (in a larger meaning) in which the inhabitants of Neuchâtel live, whether they are born there or not. So follow Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s injunction: “Go and discover your land.” |

My first gigapixel panoramic taken of Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando taken with a 20D/400mm lens on a Merlin head. |

Formed by damming the Smoky Hill River, Cedar Bluff Reservoir is one of the larger man-made lakes in western Kansas. |

The southern Phoenix "urban village" of Ahwatukee Foothills as seen from on top of one of the foothills on the south side of South Mountain. This land was un-developed as a residential community twenty five years ago. The owner of much of this land had been International Harvester who operated a proving ground for their heavy equipment. Close to 85,000 people live here in the 'world's largest cul-de-sac' that is isolated from downtown Phoenix by South Mountain. This hilltop is 3.5mi from the exit off of I-10 and is halfway to the last home in the west end of the village. To the south is the Gila River Indian Community, some of which has been developed as a casino and resort. |
