First shot i've taken that I feel was worth the extra time to photoshop and make perfect, including everything from the Mercedes Benz shoot to the cars stopped in traffic on the West Side Highway. Also what I think is the first shot taken at this resolution of the new Highline Park that's just opened. Definitely the most time i've ever spent working on a single picture...pretty good view from here. Printing as big as I can as well. enjoy! |

I headed out from Ashland, and made it just past 'the highest point on I5,' Siskiyou Summit, at 4,310 feet.
I felt the pano-urges come on. I blame gigapan for turning a six hour drive into a 10 1/2 hour drive... |

Big Oak Flat Road, also known as Highway 120, is the northern road into Yosemite National park. For most of its length it twists and turns its way towards the Yosemite Valley. However shortly before you enter the valley the forest opens up and the road straightens out. A large forest fire in 1990 cleared out much of the forest and underbrush and made a view like this possible.
Foresta is located inside the Park boundaries and is a collection of privately held inholdings. Many of these inholdings are summer homes and rentals. Can you think of a better place to spend a vacation? A 15 minute drive away from the wonders of Yosemite Valley! |

This is a 5 shot panorama of the outdoor pool at Hearst Castle in San Simeon, CA. This pool is called the Neptune Pool - it is a Roman pool and the columns you see there are really old and from like a Roman temple or something like that ! |

This vista from highway 280 takes in Crystal Springs Reservoir from the south, and the famous Filoli gardens.

The Ferguson Rock Slide completely covered Highway 140 between Midpines and Yosemite valley in early 2006. Caltrans built some bridges and a one-lane road to bypass the slide. More at http://yosemiteexplorer.com/albums/v/pow/060615-slide/ and http://abclocal.go.com/kfsn/story?section=news/local&id=6080913. Another panorama at http://gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=4852 shows the view from across the river. |

I had really hoped to get a bunch of GigaPans along the Beartooth Highway, but the weather had other plans. I did shoot this one before ascending into the clouds. |
