Believe with 24 appearances this image now holds the record for most number of appearances in a single Gigapan, and the first self-portrait i've ever done (with credit due to my friend Liv, who told me when it was safe for me to move from machine to machine). The first indoor Gigapan i've posted, stitched in AutoPano. Hr and half exposure, with surprisingly little retouching done in photoshop. Now off to go play games over and over and over... |

Oops, all our clones escaped into the CITY PARK. We tried to catch them but there are simply just too many!
Can you help us locate them all? We are also desperatly trying to locate the cloning machine, since they keep coming in larger numbers! |

How many times can we be seen in this panorama of my friend's backyard?

Overview of Main volleyball court. Cheering crowds, final game of the 2009 AVP Manhattan Beach Open Beach Volleyball Tournament. The 'Wimbledon' of beach Volleyball. Beach Volleyball got its start on the sands of Manhattan Beach. This is #3 of my little AVP Manhattan Beach Open 2009 vingnette. Not meant for moving objects, the GigaPan allows peoples bodies to do many strange things (some of which I have removed, can you see where?). 80 Gigapan images, Nikon P5100, copyright John Post |

Rotated the tripod 90 degrees to get this shot of three power towers. Can you count how many bolts? |

This series of two roof-top shots show animals in their natural habitat and demonstrate how well their skin color and texture work at hiding them in a wide view. I just put the Gigapan device directly on top of the roof in both cases and idled the car. |

8-15 gotchas (plants, animals and fossils) had to be searched by children visiting the "Pandafest" (September 2009) of the National Museum of Natural History (MNHNL). |

Here is Cathedral Square in Christchurch, New Zealand. A friendly game of chess has attracted the interest of the crowd. It looks like the game won't last much longer.
Christchurch is a travel hub for those bound for McMurdo Sound and the interior of Antarctica. It was a pleasant place to spend a few hours on a sunny afternoon. The 12 images of this panorama were photographed with a Nikon D80 and stitched with Autopano Pro. |
