360° panoramic view form "Parque Nacional del Teide" in Tenerife, taken on top of a car. The rock formation you see in the center is called "Roques de García". The Teide National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. |

Inhabitants in Uhuaia, which means The Bay that Leads into the West, like to call their city, The City at the End of the World. It seems appropriate, as there are no cities further south on the globe.
With that southern location, Ushuaia has become a major port for people and cargo bound for Antarctica. Take a look around the harbor. There is a lot to see, especially if you like ships and mountains. |

Clouldless skies don't make for much of a sunset unless you like golden light on the hills. I do. This started out as a 360 view but it had become very dark by the time the last 120 degrees were taken, so those are excluded. |

This was actually shot in between the first LC pano I uploaded and the 360. Decided on changing the exposure to bring out more detail in the rock / tidepool areas. In the stitcher, I used the "overlap more" setting, and it seems to have worked quite well. |

Lucca is a medieval walled town in western Tuscany. This panorama was taken from the famous tower "Torre Guinigi". It is remarkable in that several oak trees grow from its top (you can see some leaves of one in the corner of the panorama, a unique feature in Tuscany, where hilltop villages with treeless towers are the norm). Visible at the centre of the photo is the elliptical arrangement of buildings which mark the Piazza del Anfiteatro. During Roman times, Lucca was the largest city in Tuscany and had a small-scale Colosseum-like arena for gladiators to entertain the crowds. The buildings of today, ancient in themselves, follow the outline of the old arena and arches and stonework of the original arena form part of the streetscape at pedestrian level. The massive brick walls which surround Lucca have a wide top which has enough room for a tree-lined bike and pedestrian walkway, offering great views of the old city within the walls and the new town beyond them. The huge trees atop this wide wall are visible as a band of dark green at the edge of the old town in this panorama. |

Patagonia has many beautiful landscapes that were sculpted by geologic upheaval and by glaciers. This lovely place in the Tierra del Fuego National Park features a spectacular view of Isla Redonda with the mountains of Chile behind it. Boats leave here for Isla Redonda, which itself has magnificent views of Chile and Argentina. |

Arroyo means "dry run creek" but this one recieves water from Hetch Hetchy to recharge our groundwater. This offers a number of cool green grottos and cover for wildlife. IT is clearly no longer a dry run creek. |
