The Vietnam Veterans Memorial, which is sited near the Lincoln Memorial, presents a memorial to all those US troops killed in Vietnam in a moving and honorable way. |

Taken on 31 January 2009 at 1437 EST. This is a 82 photo pano. Obviously I have not toched up this photo in any way. With some post processing I could most likely salvage it. |

Taken inside the Library of Congress, within the Great Hall. This was my first visit to the building.
Not the greatest pano. Taken at ISO-800 at 1/125sec. f/4.5 @ 18mm |

This was a compilation of photos taken from each of the 4 sides of the Washington Monument around 505 feet up. I first stitched each of the 4 views individually (north, south, east, and west) then merged the 4 panoramas into one larger one. It measures nearly 50,000 pixels wide and is the first time I haven't been able to use JPG compression... Taken around 9:45 am on January 23, 2009 - a few days after Obama took office. |

Taken on 31 January 2009 at approximately 7PM. This pano consists of 20 photos taken with a Nikon D80. Each photo was shot at f/5 and 3 sec. exposure, ISO 100.
I'm not convinced I like the final look of this pano. The Lincoln statue is overexposed. Any recommendations to clean this up? Perhaps an HDR attempt? |

Here is a view of the East side of Washington DC, towards the Capital Building. This pano had a terrible RMS value of around 6, so the quality is not as good. Taken on Saturday, 31 January 2009. |

The Lincoln Memorial exterior and steps, shown in this 180 degree panorama to include the Washington Monument and Capitol towards which it is oriented. |
