Menefee Mountain In Southwestern Colorado USA
I hiked up from the highway but the Gigapan shutter plunger fell off in my truck. I ended up pushing the shutter by hand . I had seen alot of deer tracks on the way up and a few to many mountain lion tracks. Toward the end of the shoot I saw a large mule deer buck and was disappointed when I realized that he wasn't going to be in the pan. I got home and was pleasantly surprised to see I had caught some anyway. I must say that that this Gigapanning is great fun. It a new answer to the age old question "Why does a man climb a mountain?" Happy Hunting |

A beautiful July 4th concert featuring the National Repertory Orchestra and the Lake Dillon Theatre performers. See how many American flags you can spot!
Created using a Canon T1i and Gigapan Epic 100. APG output to HDR to Photomatix for tone mapping to accentuate the holiday colors and scenic background, then blended HDR and standard exposure shots by hand in Photoshop to eliminate motion bluring of the people in the scene. |

This is the North edge of the constantly sprawling Denver Metro Area. The goal was to get a sunset from this vista but the clouds did not materialize. We will be back at this spot soon.

This august assemblage is a wide-ranging collection of scientists, researchers, technologists and artists who gathered to teach or be taught the GigaPan process as a new media tool for their vocations and avocations.
Puzzler: Everyone in this photo attended the conference, yet there are more people in this photo than conference attendees... |
