San Diego, CA skyline viewed from Harbor Island (not a real island) near the airport. The San Diego / Coronado bridge joins the city to Coronado Island (a peninsula, also not an island) at right to the west. |

Sutro Baths, the newly renovated Cliff House and Seal Rock (yes, there are seals on the rocks) in San Francisco on a very windy day.
Same area, different perspective: http://gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=27665 View from the other side of the mountain: http://gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=27659 Here's a link to what Sutro Baths used to look like. http://www.alamedainfo.com/postcards_of_san_francisco_3.htm Notice the buildings, the trams, the statues, etc. There used to be a place where there were roller coasters, other rides, and arcades at Playland. It was quite an exciting area. Today you see...well, what you see in my pictures. |

While driving thru Yosemite Park, we came across a lake around 6 am and it was very still and cold. The lake appeared to be a mirror, it was quite beautiful. This is a 180 degree view and was hand-stitched in Photoshop. |

This is #1 of two GigaPan images I made last weekend inside the gallery. Made up of 192 (NikonP5100) shots it took quite awhile to stitch togethor (hours longer than I expected). The 180degree view is from the front window and shows the variety of images and sizes available. The John Post Gallery has been open for 13 years and is a fixture in downtown Manhattan Beach, CA. I have been selling my photography in the retail market for 34 years. I have photographed exclusively with the Fuji617 Panorama (film) camera since 1989 and have found renewed inspiration with the little GigaPan system To see more images visit www.johnpost.com |

People come to Morgan Territory Regional Wilderness for many reasons. It was a clear day so I went for the easy high view. A group of people came out to train their search and rescue dogs. I have seen these dogs follow a scent through the woods, across an open canyon, and up the hill to the rocks on the right. The dog was very nice and so was the owner that followed. |
