Viewed through the Bandstand, the Abbey is at the centre of Hexham's historic core. The Abbey Grounds are a tranquil haven of a wide range of trees, while Beaumont Street (seen centre right) has the Queen's Hall Arts Centre, library and theatre as its centrepiece. The Market Place is hidden beyond the Abbey. |

St. Fidelis church, better known as the Cathedral of the Plains, is located in Victoria, Kansas. It is one of a number of large Catholic churches erected by the Volga Germans who emigrated to the area around Hays, Kansas in the late Eighteenth and early Nineteenth centuries.
Once again I've got vignetting and missed stitches because of insufficient overlap. This image was also challenging to capture because I had to incline the robot in order to capture the top of the steeple, thus the poor leveling of the left side of the image, for instance. |

Testing Beta Gigapan endurance (Ni-MH 2500mAh) Testing possible limitations with workstation. Macbook 4GB RAM Taken in FULL sun and Dark Shade, with Lots of Wind, and Changing Light conditions (Moving Clouds) Battery Lasted in Canon G9 and still shows full charge. 8GB SD HC Manual Exposure, and Autofocus enabled. I grilled some Lunch while waiting... Totally anonymous, no intervention.
