A beautiful July 4th concert featuring the National Repertory Orchestra and the Lake Dillon Theatre performers. See how many American flags you can spot!
Created using a Canon T1i and Gigapan Epic 100. APG output to HDR to Photomatix for tone mapping to accentuate the holiday colors and scenic background, then blended HDR and standard exposure shots by hand in Photoshop to eliminate motion bluring of the people in the scene. |

This 360 panorama was taken at 2x33 to minimize edge effect. This was taken at the southeast corner of Buckingham Fountain on the last day of the taste of Chicago Festival, which ends on the 4th of July weekend. |

No one does fireworks quite like Boston; this year's was the largest and most complex Boston Fourth of July pyrotechnic display to date. More than 20 thousand pounds of explosives were used for the display, which included the largest shells yet to be used - ten-inch diameter shells climbed to 1500 feet.

July 4th, start the day with Bend's most historical event, the Pet Parade, where children of all ages bring their special pet (we've seen dogs - large & small, llamas, horses, lizards, goats, and lots of stuffed animals) to parade through downtown Bend. It's one of the most unique parades you'll ever see! - This scene is after the parade at the finish line where the pooches can cool down in a wading pool - plenty of water along the route. |

The fireworks show in Pittsburgh's downtown - the show was about 30 minutes, enough time for me to get three gigapans. This is the first. Taken from the West End overlook |
