I think the map location is misplaced: as my snapshot shows, the building on the left is the Tien Pier market, which is immediately downstream of that pier. The roof and spires in the background behind the long-tail boat on the left are the chedis of Wat Po, so I suspect the panorama was actually taken from the riverbank in front of Wat Arun.
